That’s it, another season over for our Lions & Lionesses and with 3 promotions and 0 relegations, it was one of the best – if not the best – in Oxton’s history. Now, our attention turns to the Mixed XI who are through to the round of 16 in the National Cup.
Our new home for this season, Caldy Sports Club, have been the perfect hosts in this season of success, as they were on Saturday for our annual ‘Hotpot’ awards, and we would like to thank everyone involved there, with the delightful Wendy at the helm.
We would like to thank all the players, supporters, volunteers and coaches who have helped make the Club’s dream possible – achieving National League status and excelling at all levels – which has been proven with the promotion of the Men’s 1’s, Ladies 2’s and unbeaten Men’s 5’s.
We hope you all have a wonderful summer, and we will see you in September when we embark on our first season as a National League club!
