Ladies 1 s Coach/Manager
Oxton Hockey Club is looking for an enthusiastic and experienced coach to build on the success of recent seasons as our Ladies 1s embark on their new journey into the North Hockey league.
Oxton Hockey Club is a successful and friendly club based on the Wirral with 5 Mens, 4 Ladies sides and a thriving junior section. In recent seasons the ladies section in particular, has gone from strength to strength having secured promotion for ALL 4 ladies team this season.
The ideal candidate should have a coaching qualification, but more importantly should be reliable and passionate about continuing to build on success. Nurturing and developing talent, by delivering weekly training sessions that challenge and develop the squad.
Your role will also include supporting the team at league matches each Saturday.
As a club we want all our players to achieve their individual potential, but importantly we want them to enjoy their hockey. As a result you should be a good communicator, with the ability to motivate others. Whilst allowing the players the freedom to develop and challenge themselves.
You will work closely with our Head Coach, Ladies Club Captain and Ladies 1s Captain to ensure we continue to deliver on the success we have achieved to date.

Junior Coordinator
Oxton HC is a successful and friendly club based on the Wirral with 5 Mens, 4 Ladies sides and a thriving junior section. We currently have approx 175 juniors and we are growing every year. As a result we are looking for someone to organise and run our junior section.
The role would include the following:
Coordinate and run Junior training on Sundays, 9.30-12.
Assist with Badgers & U14 Girls training.
Help organise sideline support for both badger and beaver teams, who play on a Saturday afternoon.
The role would also involve organising teams and volunteers, for Sunday morning and junior teams, including both U10s and U12s who have monthly matches with local sides.
This is a key role in the club and is effectively the base from which everything flows.
Much work has been done to develop our juniors to date (our U16 boys progressed to the T1 regional finals this year). But there is still scope to develop the section (and role yet further). So we are looking for an enthusiastic, organised and motivated individual who will work closely with our Head Coach and Club Captains to ensure we continue to deliver on the success we have achieved to date and to ensure there is a cohesive, tailored transition of our juniors into adult hockey.
