What a joy it was to be part of such a successful season for the club last season.
Summer too has seen many highlights including an enjoyable and competitive Mixed Summer League – good to see some younger faces putting in an appearance for the team. Thank you to the umpires (Les, Ann, Jamie, Cobbers and even Roly), who gave up their free time to officiate these matches. Likewise the ladies summer training was well attended and enabled us to keep our eye in over the off-season. Thank you to Ethan for putting us through our paces this summer!
Now preparations start for the new season – exciting times lie ahead, having entered 4 ladies teams into the league this year – it’s certainly set to be a busy one! We have a fantastic coaching team lined up to guide us through.
Ladies preseason has already started – in order to hit the ground running ahead of the first league games on Saturday 10th September.
But we could still do with a few more adult hands to help out and ease the pressure of running the ladies section – so if you do feel you could spare some time to help it would be very much appreciated – many hands and all that !! Look forward to seeing you all very soon.
